Since 2017 we have taken part in the golf sixes regional leagues for beginner golfers. These are in a simple pair's texas scramble format which is a great introduction to the game and competition with other golf clubs and their junior members. In 2022 our team qualified for the regional final (pictured)
The Aberdeen & District Junior Pennant League involves clubs from all over the NE of Scotland competing in a variety of events throughout the year.
In 2023, our squad (pictured) were runner up in the league final, the first time we had reached the final since 2011
We don't want the cost of golf clubs to be prohibitive for a junior playing our sport. In 2017 we started a club hire scheme for our Junior Members with support from various local organizations and club members. We now have 13x sets of golf clubs in various sizes for only £25 a year where juniors can simply exchange for the next set once they have outgrown their current set making it very cost effective for parents.
Every year we host our prize giving ceremony to help celebrate our junior golfers with families and friends. Competitions are hosted throughout the year for all abilities
